GUANGHUA ACADEMY > Guanghua Academy (GHA) was established in November 2017. That same year, we achieved significant validation by securing accreditation from the College Board as an AP course provider (CEEB Code: 694095). From the outset, we have maintained a close and productive partnership with Veritas Collegiate Academy (VCA). This collaboration has allowed us to bring together exceptional educational resources and attract distinguished faculty, ensuring we deliver a truly outstanding international high school education. Our mission is to empower students to unlock their potential, transcend limitations, and become globally-minded individuals prepared for life, the world, and the future. Charting Our Course
In 2017, Guanghua Academy was founded, marking the beginning of our unique journey in delivering a rigorous AP curriculum. With official College Board authorization (CEEB Code: 694095), we became a certified AP school, providing students with diverse pathways for international education and fulfilling their aspirations for higher education in the United States.

Embracing Vast Horizons
Our community embarked on its first collective educational expedition, traversing landscapes and cultures. Engaging in classrooms and communities abroad, students used their experiences to explore cultural nuances and exchange ideas, laying a solid foundation for their future academic pursuits.
2018 -
First Glimmer of Promise
The inaugural English Public Speaking competition concluded, showcasing a cohort of articulate young voices and helping to build a school culture that encourages critical thinking and confident expression.
2019 -
The Dawn of Potential
Our first graduating cohort set forth from our halls, securing admission to universities ranked within the top 100 in the United States. Esteemed institutions among their acceptances included New York University (#29), University of California, Davis (#39), Rutgers University (Top 10 for Business), Pennsylvania State University (#9 for Undergraduate Industrial Engineering), and the University of Connecticut, often referred to as a "Public Ivy."
2020 -
Gathering Momentum
By our fifth anniversary, three graduating classes had embarked on their collegiate journeys. Among these, 75% of students applying to the US secured offers from the nation's Top 50 universities, while 100% received offers from the Top 70. Internationally, 100% of applicants gained admission to universities ranked within the QS Top 100 globally.
2022 -
Marking Distinction
In January 2023, we relocated to Guanghua Cambridge International School (GHCIS) in Pudong. This move marked a milestone: our first student was accepted to an Ivy League university, marking a period of exceptional success in university admissions. That year, 35% of our students applying to the US secured offers from the nation's Top 30 universities, 85% received offers from the Top 50, and 100% of international applicants gained admission to QS Top 100 universities worldwide.
2023 -
Scaling New Heights
As of September 2024, we have successfully nurtured five graduating cohorts. Collectively, these students have received 79 offers from US Top 30 universities and 245 offers from US Top 50 universities. An impressive 85% of our graduates have been admitted to institutions ranked within the US Top 50, and every graduate received offers from US Top 80 universities.
