Job Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Job Responsibilities:

Instruction: Deliver instruction in the assigned AP subject area(s) according to the school's curriculum framework. Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that ensure high-quality learning outcomes.

Assessment & Feedback: Assign appropriate formative assessments, including written and oral exercises. Manage the timely collection, grading, and feedback on written work, and monitor the completion of oral assignments.

Professional Development & Curriculum: Participate actively in professional development sessions and collaborative curriculum planning. Contribute to the ongoing refinement of teaching methodologies, curriculum design, the creation of instructional materials (e.g., presentations), and the curation of relevant resources.

Student Support: Provide academic guidance and support to students, including regular tutoring and preparation for examinations.

Assessment Creation: Develop assessments, including tests and quizzes, aligned with the curriculum and student learning objectives.

Student Supervision & Management: Supervise students during designated study periods (e.g., morning and evening tutorials). Contribute to the overall student management efforts.

Student Activities & Support: Support student activities and contribute to the assessment of their holistic development.

Extracurricular Leadership: Organize and oversee extracurricular clubs or activities to enrich the student experience.

Adherence to School Policies: Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by school administration.

2. Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience is preferred; however, outstanding recent graduates will also be considered.

Strong organizational skills, clear thinking, and excellent verbal communication abilities.

A genuine passion for education, coupled with a high degree of responsibility, empathy for students, and enthusiasm for the role.

Demonstrated commitment to professional service, continuous learning, and effective teamwork.

Effective interpersonal communication skills, including active listening, and a calm, approachable demeanor.

Proficiency in English and basic computer skills necessary for daily job functions.
