Guanghua Academy (GHA), we believe in providing individualized attention to foster each student’s growth. Every class is supported by two dedicated mentors: a Homeroom Teacher and a College Counselor. The Homeroom Teacher provides close oversight of students’ academic progress and daily well-being, acting as a consistent point of contact and care. Simultaneously, our College Counselor offers personalized, one-on-one guidance for students’ future pathways, helping them navigate their academic and career aspirations. Together, these two mentors collaborate to develop tailored learning plans and strategies that reflect each student’s unique strengths and needs. This integrated approach ensures a truly student-centered high school experience, promoting holistic development. Guided by principles of respect, rational communication, and documented agreements, our school implements a management approach that balances empathy with clear expectations. Our aim is to cultivate students’ self-discipline and adherence to community standards. A comprehensive Student Handbook serves as a key resource for this system.Through regular class meetings and individual discussions, faculty engage students in meaningful dialogue about values and ethical decision-making. Thoughtful Management of Electronic Devices
Recognizing the role of technology, Guanghua Academy (GHA) implements a structured and age-appropriate framework for the use of electronic devices like phones and laptops. Specific guidelines are established for when and where these devices can be used, with clear restrictions during class time. For example, limited phone use is permitted after evening study sessions on school days. To ensure compliance,a dedicated monitoring team conducts regular inspections, supported by digital management systems. Concurrently, we offer educational guidance on responsible and healthy digital habits, aiming to cultivate mindful technology use among our students.

Developing Student Leadership and Diverse Competencies
We strongly encourage and empower students to engage in self-governance, service, education, and reflection. To this end, we have established a Student Union, providing a platform for students to showcase and expand their potential. The Student Union actively plans and executes a variety of academic, cultural, athletic, and community service initiatives. Through this involvement, students develop crucial skills in organization, communication, and leadership, while also strengthening their collaborative spirit and civic awareness.
